Thankfully, we are here to offer you some advice on what to keep in your vehicle for your road trip. Follow these guidelines and hit the road with confidence, knowing that if something does happen, you are prepared.
Essential Documents: Make sure you have your owner’s manual, license, insurance information, and other necessary documentation. Store these in a safe place and keep them there, like in the glove compartment, for example.
Emergency Items: You need to be prepared in case of an emergency. Always keep items like chargers, flashlights, a gas can with backup fuel, a first aid kit, water, and non-perishable snacks in your vehicle. These items should be a part of your road trip packing list. These items will come in handy if anything goes wrong, causing you to break down.
Car Repair Necessities: Having a roadside emergency kit is a great idea. These kits usually contain car repair essentials such as jumper cables, tire sealer/inflator, light sticks, reflective vest, warning triangle, tire pressure gauge, tools, etc. Also, be sure to keep a well-maintained spare tire in your trunk in case of a blowout.
Once you’ve got yourself set up with these important items, it’s time to enjoy your trip with peace of mind! Being safe on the road is a priority. Create a pre-road-trip checklist to ensure that you have these handy items. Before heading out, we highly recommend visiting your auto repair shop and having your vehicle inspected. Tires, car batteries, brakes, air conditioning, and heating are a few components that will need an inspection. Driving a safe and well-equipped vehicle will help you have a safer and more enjoyable road trip that’s memorable for the right reasons.
The GOODYEAR FALL PROMOTION EVENT is a manufacturer’s online rebate. This is a consumer tire rebate event for select Goodyear tires. To qualify for this event, you must purchase your eligible tires between September 9, 2024 and the expiry date of December 31, 2024. One (1) rebate form per sales receipt/invoice. Limit one (1) online rebate per qualifying purchase, per visit. Limit four (4) rebates per individual consumer, per promotion period. Federal and provincial taxes are calculated on the selling price before the rebate. Minimum purchase of a set of four (4) tires is required to receive the full rebate amount. Rebates are also available per tire on a prorated basis with a minimum purchase of four (4) tires and a maximum purchase of six (6) tires per sales receipt/invoice. The consumer must submit the rebate form online along with a copy of the sales receipt/ invoice on or before January 31, 2025. Offer is only open to residents of Canada and is only valid for tire purchases from a participating Canadian retailer that operates a retail location in Canada. This rebate offer cannot be combined with any other Goodyear rebate offer. This is a consumer rebate that also applies to business-to-business purchases, excluding tires sold to national accounts, government accounts, P&R accounts, secondary supply points, other retailers or any other delivery for the account of Goodyear. All sales receipts/invoices submitted must include detailed product and customer sold-to information to be eligible for rebates.
